Role: Enterprise AE Manager (Sales Leader)

Product: AI-powered platform driving measurable outcomes in organic search
Size and functions of local team: 8 AEs total, 2 pods of 4; hiring for 1 additional AE Manager to join existing leadership
Role description (Leader):
- Directly manage a pod of 4 AEs targeting upper mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Deals: £45K AOV, 45-day average sales cycle
- Involved in live deals, especially at the closing stage
- AEs are often newly promoted SDRs – requires hands-on coaching
- High outbound motion supported by large SDR team
- Sales methodology: value-based, requires proactive and strategic engagement
- Monthly quota structure (MRR focus) with emphasis on forecasting accuracy
- Managers are expected to actively close deals while upskilling the team

Must haves:
- Experience closing SaaS deals in high-velocity environments (7–45 day cycles)
- Leadership or team lead experience managing AEs or full-cycle reps
- Proven sales coaching track record with junior sales talent
- Monthly or quarterly quota experience (MRR-focused)
- Value-based sales methodology
- Familiarity with Salesforce and enablement tools (Gong, Outreach, Clari)
- Willingness to be in London office 3 days/week
Nice to haves:
- SEO or MarTech background
- Challenger Sales experience
- Analytics aptitude; ability to coach around business cases and ROI
- Internal stakeholder and legal negotiation exposure
Salary range & secondary benefits:
- £85K base
- £95K OTE (target earnings achievable)
