Forklift Instructor

6-months FTC

Salary: 30k

Location: Rotherham

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic warehousing and forklift instructor to join our client on a six-month fixed-term contract.

The ROLE:

Some of your responsibilities as Forklift Instructor:

To design and conduct captivating training sessions, customizing your methods to suit personal requirements while offering helpful feedback and guidance.
You'll perform ongoing student evaluations, handle all course components (including individual learning plans with SMART goals), and make sure every participant reaches their maximum capabilities.
To provide on-site courses for counterbalance and reach trucks to a varied group of students, assisting both working individuals and job seekers.
As a certified RTITB-accredited trainer, you'll apply your skills to encourage learners and tackle issues that could impact their advancement.
You'll operate within the employer-focused team and report to your supervisor. The job entails tight coordination with multiple units, such as curriculum sections, workplace training, evaluators, organizers, extra support personnel, testing, and data systems.

THE CANDIDATE:

The successful Warehousing and Forklift Instructor will have the following skills and experience:

You will have experience of conducting warehousing and FLT programmes.
Background in instructing both employed and jobless students, delivering an uplifting learning journey from the start
Should have a RTITB certification and Assessor qualification
Level 3 teaching credential, and warehousing certification
Level 2 in literacy and numeracy (or similar); IQA credential is preferred but not required
Excellent Communication Skills
