Account Manager

Job description

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join a growing healthcare communications agency delivering medical education and healthcare communications programmes.

This is a step-up role for someone ready to take greater ownership of projects, clients and budgets, while continuing to work closely with the detail and the science.

The role

• Lead day-to-day delivery of healthcare communications and medical education projects
• Develop and oversee high-quality content across meetings, events and materials
• Manage scientific meetings, symposia and webinars end to end, including speaker management
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Run multiple projects confidently, keeping teams aligned and work on track
• Manage budgets including forecasting, tracking and reconciliation
• Ensure all activity aligns with industry compliance processes
• Contribute to agency initiatives and support business growth

About you

• Experience at Account Manager level within healthcare communications or medical education
• Strong background in content development and project delivery
• Confident managing clients, timelines and budgets
• Comfortable working with scientific data and medical terminology
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements
• A critical thinker who enjoys problem-solving and improving how work is delivered
• Collaborative, proactive and invested in contributing to agency success
