Public Relations – Account Manager – Wine Industry

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager with experience in the wine industry. Our client, an award-winning PR team, is seeking a talented individual to manage several wine accounts. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid PR agency background and a passion for the drinks industry. The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring three days in the office.

Key responsibilities include:

- Implementation and management of client PR strategies

- Proactive and reactive activities across trade and consumer media, including writing press releases

- Copywriting

- Organising and attending press briefings, dinners, and press trips

- Attending client meetings and brainstorming sessions

- General account management duties, including drafting activity and contact reports

- Assisting in new business development, including brainstorming and pitches

- Managing the junior team’s workload and supporting their development

Skills required:

- 3-4 years of traditional PR agency experience in the UK

- Knowledge of the UK wine industry

- Excellent written skills

- Proven team player

- Commercial understanding of the impact of PR on clients’ businesses

- Strong organizational skills

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Creativity

- Demonstrated time planning and management skills
