Management Trainee

Sage Partners | Marketing Agency is looking for a Management Trainee

Job description

Management Trainee - Birmingham - Immediate Start

A management development role built around performance, discipline, and progression.

This opportunity is designed for individuals who are motivated by clear objectives, measurable results, and continuous improvement.

At Sage Partners, we are hiring Management Trainees to strengthen our Birmingham operation and support our next phase of UK growth. This role offers early responsibility, structured leadership development, and a clear pathway into management for individuals who perform consistently and lead by example.

It is not a passive graduate scheme. It is a performance-led development track for people who want to earn progression through results.

The Environment

Sage Partners operates in a high-tempo, people-focused sales and marketing environment. Performance standards are clear, accountability is shared, and development is ongoing.

You will work within structured teams where preparation, communication, and execution matter. Progress is driven by consistency, coachability, and the ability to positively influence others.

As the business continues to grow, with planned expansion into three major UK cities before summer, we are actively developing individuals who can support growth either by strengthening the Birmingham team or by stepping into future expansion opportunities.

The Role

As a Management Trainee, you will be trained across the core areas required to lead high-performing teams, including:

  • Leading by example in face-to-face sales and customer acquisition campaigns
  • Supporting and developing team performance against clear targets
  • Understanding campaign strategy, client expectations, and execution
  • Monitoring performance data and adapting approach under pressure
  • Learning how to coach, motivate, and manage individuals effectively

Training & Leadership Development

No previous management experience is required.

You will receive:

  • Structured onboarding and leadership training
  • One-to-one coaching and regular performance reviews
  • Development in communication, decision-making, and people management
  • Clear benchmarks outlining progression into leadership and management roles

High performers typically progress into leadership or junior management positions within 6–12 months, based on performance, consistency, and readiness.

Who This Role Is Well Suited To

This role particularly appeals to individuals who thrive in structured, competitive, team-based environments, including:

  • Current or former athletes and sports team members
  • Individuals with experience in competitive or target-driven roles
  • Graduates seeking leadership development
  • Candidates from customer-facing backgrounds such as sales, retail, hospitality, or events
  • Individuals who respond well to coaching, feedback, and performance metrics

A degree or previous experience is beneficial but not essential. Mindset, discipline, and work ethic are key.

What We Offer

  • Structured management training and mentorship
  • Clear promotion-from-within progression pathway
  • A professional, performance-driven team environment
  • Opportunities to support UK expansion and future growth initiatives
  • Recognition for leadership, consistency, and results

Ready to Build Momentum?

If you are looking for a role where effort is visible, development is structured, and progression is earned, we encourage you to apply.
