Mechanical Fitter – Precision Engineering & Automation

What You’ll Do:

• Assemble and fit mechanical components, systems, and sub-assemblies from technical drawings
• Perform precise alignment, adjustments, and fine-tuning of assemblies
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to solve mechanical challenges
• Check parts and assemblies for accuracy and quality compliance
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and on-site maintenance of machinery
• Keep your workspace organised, efficient, and safe

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Assembly Technician in manufacturing or automation
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or automated systems (advantageous)
