Account Manager – Health & Social Care Communications

Location: Central London (hybrid working 2/3 days in office)

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 + strong benefits

Albion Rye Associates is partnering exclusively with a high-performing, award-winning communications consultancy to appoint an Account Manager into its Health & Social Care practice.


Our client advises organisations operating at the heart of the UK health and care system, delivering strategic communications programmes that influence policy, shape reputations and drive meaningful outcomes. The consultancy is well established, growing steadily, and known for its collaborative culture, senior-level exposure and high standards of client work.

The role


This is a client-facing Account Manager position with a strong emphasis on media relations, reputation management and integrated communications. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality campaigns for organisations spanning health, social care and adjacent regulated sectors.


What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience in PR or communications (agency or in-house), ideally within health, social care or a closely aligned sector
  • A proven track record of securing national, trade and local media coverage
  • Strong news sense and confidence handling issues-sensitive or reputational work
  • Excellent writing skills across press releases, briefings, commentary and digital content
  • Confidence working directly with clients and building trusted relationships
  • An interest in the UK media, policy and political landscape
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at pace while maintaining high editorial standards
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior colleagues is advantageous
