Job description

Founder’s Associate (Stealth Startup)

Location: London (3 days per week in-office)

Role type: Full-time

Travel: Occasional international travel

Overview

We are a founder-led, well-capitalised startup operating in stealth mode, building a global, standardised sports and live events platform. We are seeking a Founder’s Associate to work directly with the founder across strategy, operations, analysis and execution.

This is a high-trust, high-exposure role designed for someone early-to-mid career with a background in consulting, investing, strategy or high-performance operating environments. The role exists to increase founder leverage. It spans strategic thinking, structured problem-solving and hands-on execution across a fast-moving, unstructured business.

The ideal candidate is intellectually sharp, obsessively organised, commercially aware and genuinely passionate about fitness and sport.

Responsibilities

Founder support and leverage

  • Work directly with the founder on priority initiatives across strategy, operations, partnerships and execution.
  • Act as an extension of the founder, helping translate high-level direction into structured plans, actions and outputs.
  • Manage, prioritise and track multiple parallel workstreams in a constantly evolving environment.

Strategy, analysis and decision support

  • Conduct market, competitive and strategic analysis to support decision-making.
  • Build clear, concise models, frameworks and briefing documents to support internal discussions and external conversations.
  • Pressure-test ideas, assumptions and plans with structured thinking and data-driven insight.

Operational execution

  • Own and drive discrete projects from concept through execution, coordinating across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create structure where none exists: timelines, priorities, dependencies and clear next steps.
  • Support operational planning across events, partnerships and internal build-out as required.

Communication and coordination

  • Prepare high-quality materials, including internal memos, presentations, proposals and briefing packs.
  • Coordinate across teams, advisors and partners to ensure momentum and alignment.
  • Track decisions, actions and follow-ups to ensure accountability and progress.

Special projects

  • Take ownership of ad-hoc, high-impact projects that cut across strategy, operations and commercial execution.
  • Support preparation for external meetings, negotiations and senior-level discussions.

Experience and background

  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or a similarly rigorous analytical environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to move quickly from ambiguity to structure.
  • Comfort working in founder-led, early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated interest in fitness, sport or performance-led culture.

Personal profile

  • Highly organised with exceptional prioritisation and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable operating in unstructured environments and creating clarity under pressure.
  • Commercially minded, intellectually curious and outcome-focused.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with high attention to detail.
  • Multi-hyphenate by nature: equally comfortable thinking, building, organising and executing.
  • High levels of discretion, judgment and professionalism in a confidential, non-public environment.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Performance-related bonus aligned to delivery, impact and business outcomes.

This role offers a rare opportunity to work at the centre of a high-ambition business, gaining exposure across strategy, operations and execution while helping shape a global platform from inception.
