Locum Clinical Lead

March 2026 to June 2026 ( 4 months but likely to extend)

£800 per day

2 to 4 days (ideally 3)

Looking for an experienced, seasoned GP who can support us in a Clinical Lead role in a caretaking practice.

It is a challenging environment - the current partners are suspended by CQC and we have been put in to turn the practice around - there is a significant amount of turn-around and clinical safety work but they will be supported a Medical Director above them, our extensive governance team and a CQC plan/governance structure so they won't be asked to compile the plan. We have a CQC registered manager in place so this wouldn't be an expectation.

We need an experienced clinical leader to work approx. 6 sessions in Bexhill, Sussex.

It would be a temporary opportunity until end of June, it may go beyond that but for now that is where our contract ends.

The three days can be flexible but it's going to need to be spread across the week ideally; we need clinical oversight across the week not just one end of the week.

Surgery has around 13,000 patients and has a fantastic, loyal team. There is a mixture of GPs, pharmacists, ANPs and Practice Nursing. No PM currently, we're also looking for a temp/locum to work alongside the clinical lead. They do have an ops manager, HR manager, finance manager so there is leadership.
