Opportunities have arisen for Mechanical Fitters/ Fabricators,Installation Engineers to join our established engineering business in Kent

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Mechanical Engineers / Steel Fabricators / Installation Engineers at Fabweld Engineering Services, located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The role involves repairing fabricating steel structures, installing and assembling equipment, carrying out mechanical repairs, good fault finding skills on Concrete / Aggregate Plants and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Managing project timelines , and conducting quality checks during fabrication and installation.

You will be required to work as part of a team and being able to work independently and remotely

A company van is supplied

Overtime working through the week will be required with some weekend working

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements

SPA CARD, IPAF, PASMA,MPQ CARD WILL BE PREFERRED BUT TRAINING CAN BE CARRIED OUT

Applicants to have Cscs card and to have served a Apprenticeship / NVQ in the correct disciplines

Successful candidates will need to show qualifications

A full UK Driving License is required

• Expertise in Mechanical Engineering, including knowledge of materials, systems, and engineering principles
• Previous experience in Pneumatics,Hydraulics, conveyor systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to the demands of installation and fabrication tasks
• Relevant engineering qualifications, such as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with steel fabrication processes and safety regulations is a plus
• Experience working in an on-site engineering capacity is advantageous
