Role Description
This is not a desk job. As a Junior Sales Executive at LEC Robotics, you will be out in the field every single day visiting potential customer sites, scouting robot placement sites, and potential venues for commercial activations to identify opportunities and build relationships with decision-makers face to face.
We have limited existing leads and working in progress pipeline. You will be starting from zero, which means the rewards are entirely yours to earn. You will be responsible for building your own prospect list and territory from the ground up, using on-the-ground intelligence and direct engagement as your primary approach.
This role suits someone who thrives on autonomy, is energised by face-to-face selling, and is hungry to build something from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field-based prospecting by visiting sites to identify and engage potential customers in person
- Build and maintain a prospect list and active sales pipeline from zero, with no existing leads provided
- Introduce LEC Robotics and our product ranges to business owners, operations managers, and procurement leads through direct, face-to-face engagement
- Qualify prospects and progress opportunities through the full sales cycle from initial contact to closed deal
- Manage your own territory, diary, and route planning to maximise productive site visits on a daily basis
- Follow up in-person visits with calls and emails to maintain momentum, phone and email support your field activity and do not replace it
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations, working alongside our technical team where required
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a smooth handover to the implementation team post-sale
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM (HubSpot)
- Provide regular pipeline and territory updates to the Head of Operations
- Feed market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights back to the wider business
Qualifications
- Sales and Negotiation skills, including experience in building client relationships and achieving sales targets
- Effective Communication and Presentation skills to deliver compelling product pitches and navigate client interactions
- Market Research and Analytical skills for identifying market trends and potential opportunities
- Basic knowledge of AI, robotics, or automation technologies is preferred
- Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable drive, resilience, and a proactive approach to new business development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly in face-to-face settings
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time effectively, and take full ownership of a territory
- Comfortable with cold outreach and in-person prospecting in environments where no prior relationships exist

Compensation
- Base salary: £30,000 per annum
- Commission: 10% on gross revenue on all Xbot product sales
- Average unit price: £30,000 | Commission per unit: £3,000
- Commission is uncapped
Indicative earnings:
- 5 units sold: £15,000 commission — £45,000 total
- 10 units sold: £30,000 commission — £60,000 total
- 20 units sold: £60,000 commission — £90,000 total
