Mechanical Power Transmission, Hydraulics, Agricultural and Trailer Parts, and Bespoke Manufacturing—we deliver complete solutions to the agricultural and engineering sectors.


We are now seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing UK Sales Team based in Ipswich.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is actively involved in, or has strong knowledge of, the agricultural machinery industry. The ideal candidate will understand the construction, mechanics, and operation of agricultural trailers and implements, and be confident providing technical support to UK farm machinery manufacturers.

Based in the office, but with opportunities to visit customers in the field as and when required, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, offering technical advice, and promoting aftermarket agricultural components. You will also liaise with European and Asian manufacturing partners, provide input on product applications, and support quality‑control enquiries.

A background in farming, agricultural engineering, countryside pursuits, or hands‑on machinery experience is advantageous, but not essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Liaise between customers, suppliers, factories, and internal teams.
  • Provide technical information and product guidance to customers and the sales team across the UK & Ireland.
  • Work directly with UK agricultural machinery manufacturers to support both OEM and aftermarket business.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through regular office-based and field-based interaction.
  • Interpret customer needs and advise on suitable products and system solutions.
  • Support customers with after‑sales service and technical queries.
  • Address application and quality-control issues efficiently.
  • Assist Directors and senior management with additional tasks as required.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in agricultural sales or agricultural engineering products.
  • Practical understanding of agricultural trailers, implements, or farm machinery mechanics.
  • A background in farming, countryside pursuits, or agricultural machinery operation—helpful but not essential.
  • Degree in Business or Mechanical Engineering beneficial but not required.
  • Strong IT skills, including use of CRM systems and MS Office (Excel & Outlook).
  • Hands‑on, proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with a motivated and enthusiastic approach to sales.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Terms & Conditions

  • Full-time role (40 hours per week)
  • Standard working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break
  • Additional hours may be required to fulfil the duties of the role
