The Role:
We are seeking an experienced EU Healthcare Compliance Manager to lead and oversee all operational healthcare and scientific compliance activities across Europe. This role is responsible for ensuring that all medical affairs activities, communications, and scientific data dissemination comply with EU and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update all Medical Affairs SOPs and compliance processes.
- Ensure interactions with healthcare professionals and the public meet all regulatory requirements.
- Lead compliance committees and manage governance, reporting, and oversight.
- Review and approve regional medical and scientific materials.
- Act as the internal expert on code compliance, providing guidance and training.
- Monitor EU compliance performance through scorecards and metrics.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to best practices.
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific or medical degree (MSc, MD, PharmD, or equivalent).
- 4+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, including 2+ years in medical compliance.
- Strong knowledge of EU and UK healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven.
