About the Company

A leading childcare recruitment agency is seeking enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioners looking for flexible work in the Basingstoke and the surrounding areas. There are a range of bank/temporary/permanent roles available!

About the Role

What you’ll be doing as Nursery Practitioner:

• Stepping into nurseries on a temporary basis to cover staff sickness, holidays, and peak periods
• Providing nurturing, engaging care for children aged 0-5 years
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and mealtimes
• Working within the EYFS framework to promote child development
• Following all safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (beneficial)

Required Skills

• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool setting is a must
• A genuine passion for childcare
• Reliability and a flexible, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to travel to various settings across Clapham and nearby areas

Preferred Skills

• Up-to-date safeguarding training, including Prevent Duty and FGM awareness, is essential
