We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join a British Pearson School in Baghdad, Iraq. As a full-time member, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to effectively facilitate student learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and personal development.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of methods, including exams, projects, and class participation.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience for students.
• Stay up-to-date with current educational trends and incorporate them into lesson plans.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
• Supervise and support students during extracurricular activities and events, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• PGCE with QTS awarded by the UK Teaching Regulation Agency.
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
