We are a very fast and busy business with multiple years of roadside assistance.

When our flagship auto centre opens in Cwmbran on January 3, 2026, we will need several workers to perform their jobs both inside and outside of our auto centre.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Class 2 Recovery Driver/Mechanic/MOT EA based in Cwmbrân. The role involves operating recovery trucks, providing professional vehicle recovery services, and ensuring the safe transport of vehicles. The candidate may also perform vehicle inspections, conduct MOT testing within the company's guidelines, and undertake basic mechanical repairs and maintenance. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, maintain logs, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Proven truck driving experience and possession of a valid CDL Class A licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to ensure a professional and friendly experience for all customers.
• Knowledge of vehicle recovery, truck operation, and basic mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently while adhering to schedules and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Previous experience in vehicle inspections or MOT testing is an advantage.
• A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record are required.
