Job description
The Leading with AI programme is our flagship executive-style initiative, designed for leaders navigating organisational transformation through AI. It blends executive education prestige with practical leadership development.
As a Masterclass Trainer, you will deliver high-impact, 1-hour sessions via Microsoft Teams that bring credibility, thought-leadership, and academic excellence to the programme. These sessions are designed to demystify cutting-edge AI topics, inspire learners, and differentiate the programme in a competitive executive education market.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live, engaging, 1-hour masterclasses to groups of up to 50 executives.
- Work through practical examples and case studies that link AI adoption to executive decision-making.
- Tailor sessions to the specific business needs of the audience, which includes leaders from Tier 1 organisations (banks, consultancies, FTSE 100) and national regulatory bodies.
- Explain and facilitate discussions on key themes such as Demystifying AI, Agentic AI, Build vs. Buy, and other emerging AI trends.
- Enhance programme prestige by representing Cambridge Spark as a credible expert voice.
Ideal Profile
- PhD-level academic (e.g., Associate Professor from a leading university) or a senior executive with deep experience applying AI concepts at the highest levels of business.
- Deep knowledge of current AI concepts, including Transformers, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI.
- Strong teaching background, ideally with university-level experience and a proven ability to engage senior audiences.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex, technical AI concepts into business strategy for a non-specialist, executive-level audience.
- Extensive experience interacting with and presenting to leaders at the highest levels, such as FTSE 100 companies or national regulatory bodies.
Contracting Arrangements
- Basis: Freelance / contractor basis, remunerated at an agreed hourly rate.
- Format: Fully remote; all sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams.
- Engagement: Typically engaged for ad-hoc, high-value sessions.
- Exclusivity: Candidates must not be delivering competing in-house training at scale.
