Key Responsibilities – KS2 Teaching Assistant

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 (Year 3 – Year 6)
• Delivering small group interventions in English and Maths
• Providing 1:1 support where required
• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

Essential Requirements

• Proven UK-based experience working in a primary school (ESSENTIAL)
• Recent experience supporting pupils in KS2
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
