Job description
Supply & Operations Data Analyst
Hybrid (2 days London office)
Competitive Salary + bonus
8% Non-Contributory Pension
We’re partnering with a fast-scaling, private equity-backed international e-commerce marketplace business on a newly created Supply & Operations Analyst role.
This is a high-impact position sitting at the heart of global supply and operations, where you’ll own analytics end-to-end and drive meaningful commercial outcomes — not just dashboards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning reporting and analytics for key supply & operational initiatives
- Conducting deep-dive root cause analysis on complex performance challenges
- Designing and analysing A/B and incrementality tests
- Building and validating datasets from raw data (SQL-heavy)
- Translating insights into clear commercial recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Measuring impact and success of implemented initiatives
This role requires someone who can go beyond surface-level reporting and truly influence decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years in analytics (ideally e-commerce or marketplace environment)
- Very strong SQL (must be confident debugging and querying raw data)
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI or Looker
- Exposure to experimentation (A/B testing, incrementality, funnel analysis)
- Strong commercial mindset — able to connect data to revenue and operational impact
- Comfortable working independently and owning initiatives end-to-end
Python experience is beneficial but not essential.
Why Consider This Role?
- PE-backed, profitable international growth business
- Highly collaborative and commercially focused analytics function
- Clear impact and ownership
- 8% non-contributory pension (rare in market)
- Hybrid working (2 days in office)
- Genuine progression as the analytics function matures
If you’re an analyst who enjoys solving complex operational challenges and influencing senior decision-making, I’d love to speak confidentially.
