SEND Officer (4 posts – Hybrid)
Location: Shefford, Central Bedfordshire (Hybrid – attend office as required)
Contract: 3 months initially
Hours: 37 hours per week
Rate: £300 per day (UMB)
About the Role
We are looking for experienced SEND Officers to support our Client's Senior SEND Officers in delivering high-quality services for children and families. This role focuses on amending annual reviews, managing case loads, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Make amendments to annual reviews with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain effective oversight of SEND cases
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, families, and professionals
- Champion inclusion and make fair, evidence-based decisions
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a SEND Officer
- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and the Children & Families Act 2014
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise work to meet legal timelines
