PR by Whitney is a strategic communications partner to B2B brands operating across construction, infrastructure, the built environment, engineering, manufacturing and specialist professional services.

We’re looking for an Account Executive / Campaign Coordinator with at least 12 months’ agency experience who understands that PR is about influence, not activity.


You’ll work closely with our senior team to execute campaigns, understanding the bigger picture behind each brief, seeing how press, social and outreach connect and making sure every piece of work supports the position we’re building for the client.


You’ll be trusted with responsibility, exposed to strategic thinking, and expected to contribute ideas.


The Role

This role sits at the centre of campaign delivery.

You’ll support and execute across:

– Press releases and media angles

– Targeted media outreach and distribution

– Radio outreach and commentary placement

– Written social content for brand pages (primarily LinkedIn)

– Campaign research and idea development

– Coordinating moving parts across accounts

You’ll report into senior team members but will be expected to operate with ownership and confidence.


What Good Looks Like


You understand alignment connecting press, social and campaign messaging so everything supports the client’s commercial goals and strengthens how they’re perceived in their market.

You can:

– Write clear, commercially strong press releases

– Draft brand-page social posts with purpose

– Adapt tone depending on sector and audience

– Find angles within technical information

– Proofread properly before anything leaves the building


You’re organised, you manage deadlines properly, you don’t wait to be chased and you genuinely care about standards. Things don’t slip under your watch.


Media & Outreach

You’ll be confident:

– Building targeted media lists

– Distributing press releases properly

– Proactively pitching to trade, regional and national media

– Handling radio outreach

– Spotting reactive opportunities

Client & Team Contribution

You’ll:

– Contribute to internal campaign meetings

– Support preparation for client discussions

– Communicate professionally with clients when required

– Take part in brainstorming and new business research

We operate with accountability and ownership.


What We’re Looking For

At least 12 months’ agency experience.

Comfortable juggling multiple accounts.

Commercially aware.

Calm under pressure.
