B2B Sales Manager
Basic Salary: circa £50,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
OTE: £65,000+ (uncapped)
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the events and media space, delivering high-profile experiences, digital platforms and content to engaged professional audiences.
They are now looking to appoint a commercially minded Sales Manager to help drive growth across a portfolio of live events and integrated marketing opportunities. This role would suit a motivated B2B sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
The Role
This position focuses on generating revenue through a combination of new business development and client relationship management. The successful candidate will work across a range of event and marketing solutions, engaging with brands and businesses seeking to connect with targeted audiences.
The role will involve a blend of office-based and client-facing activity, including meetings, networking and attendance at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and win new business opportunities with brands and organisations through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Manage and grow an existing client base, identifying opportunities to expand partnerships across multiple products and platforms.
- Deliver against individual revenue targets while contributing to overall team performance.
- Consult with clients to understand their objectives and propose tailored event and marketing solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline information within CRM systems.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of campaigns, partnerships and event participation.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally within media, marketing, advertising or events.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- A relationship-focused sales approach with a passion for developing long-term partnerships.
- Highly motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Organised, proactive and commercially minded.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
- Experience selling event participation, sponsorship or marketing solutions would be advantageous but is not essential.
