Locum Occupational Therapist - Major Adaptations Team

Suffolk - Hybrid Working

£35 per hour (Umbrella)

• We are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join the Major Adaptations Team – Independent Living Suffolk.
• This role is ideal for an OT with strong Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) and adaptations experience looking for a flexible hybrid opportunity.

Locations:

You will be based at one of the following offices:

• Riverside House, Lowestoft (NR33 0EQ)

• Riduna Park, Woodbridge

• Beacon House, Ipswich

Working Pattern:

• Hybrid – 2–3 days in the office / 2 days working from home

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and timely front-line Occupational Therapy services
• Complete triage and assessments for major adaptations via Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG)
• Work collaboratively with District and Borough Councils to provide appropriate adaptations and equipment
• Support disabled residents to remain safe and independent in their own homes
• Complete OT assessments and reviews across the directorate
• Provide mutual aid to other OT teams when required

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist qualification
• Strong experience with adaptations / Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG)
• Experience completing major adaptations assessments
• Ability to manage assessments within a local authority setting
