Account Manager (Financial Services PR)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £38K–£45K depending on experience

We’re working with a specialist PR & communications consultancy that partners with clients in financial services, technology, and climate transition. With an international presence and a collaborative culture, they’re now looking for a talented Account Manager to join their London team.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering integrated communications programmes. You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of campaigns, coordinate account teams across international offices, and ensure work is delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget.
This role combines client management, media relations, campaign planning and team coordination, offering the opportunity to work on complex communications challenges across financial services and ESG sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships and providing communications guidance.
- Manage the delivery of integrated PR campaigns across media relations, content, events and social channels.
- Develop tactical communications plans aligned with client objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and secure media coverage.
- Oversee the creation of client materials including press releases, thought leadership and social content.
- Coordinate account teams and support junior colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Track campaign performance, report on results, and provide recommendations.
- Support new business activity including proposals and pitches.
About You
- Proven experience in PR, communications or journalism, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong understanding of financial services, fintech, or technology sectors.
- Established media relations skills and confidence pitching to journalists.
- Excellent writing skills with experience developing a range of communications content.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Experience working collaboratively within teams and supporting more junior colleagues.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and media monitoring tools.
