Java Developer (Contract) – Public Sector

We’re currently looking for experienced Java Developers to join a major government programme delivering high-impact digital services used by millions across the UK.

Location: Manchester (1 day onsite per week)

Rate: £450-475/day (Inside IR35)

Contract: 6 Months

You’ll be working within a collaborative, agile team, building scalable and modern applications that make a real difference to end users.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining Java-based microservices
• Contributing to cloud-based solutions and CI/CD pipelines
• Working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with Java & Spring Boot
• Experience building microservices architectures
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Agile delivery, and cloud technologies
