Main duties of the jobYou'll be supporting a lady in her 40s who due to Conelia de Lange syndrome requires support with complex needs such as communication issues, partial sight, challenging behaviour and learning disability. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy. She lives in her own property with 24/7 support from her care team, enjoys being active and likes to be out and about in big open spaces alongside sensory activities. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.

Job responsibilitiesJoin Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!

HoursHours: 24 hours per week across a two week rota, Tuesday & Friday week one and Saturday & Sunday week two (Days 08:00-20:00 and waking nights 20:00-08:00)

What We're Looking ForDue to the client's needs, we're seeking a female support worker who is active, patient, and has a sense of fun and who can support our client to access her local community, maintain good health, and make positive progress in engaging with activities.

Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

Promote engagement with personalised routines

Support with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness

Helping to access the community

Promoting and supporting a healthy diet

Provide emotional support and companionship

Maintain accurate care records and report any changes

Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
