OverviewHays Recruitment is supporting a Runcorn‐based single‐form entry primary school that is at the heart of its local community, seeking a motivated and experienced teaching assistant to join a long‐term temporary team on a part‐time basis (5 mornings, 8:30 am‐1 pm). The role involves supporting a KS1 pupil with SEN on a 1:1 basis in the main classroom and resource provision. The pupil requires intensive speech and language support, so the assistant will lead on speech and language interventions and therapy.

What you'll need to succeedApplicants must have full "Right to Work" in the UK and a minimum of 40 referenceable days of classroom experience within the last two years, and the following:

Experience supporting SEN, speech, and language requirements is advantageousExperience using PECS and MakatonELKLAN training is advantageous
