Care / Support Worker - Circle Case Management

Circle Case Management assist our clients to directly employ their own staff team.

One of our clients is now looking to directly employ a part time Care / Support Worker to work in the family setting near Ryde.

The RoleAs a Care / Support Worker, you'll provide a high level of support to a 16 year old girl with multiple complex needs on a 2:1 basis. The team is small, made up of 5 people.

In this role, you will provide personal care and provide mobility assistance, including using a hoist and a wheelchair. You will also support on days out and potentially holidays. You will be supporting the individual to work towards goals and personal achievements.

Other parts of the job role includes:

Daily living skills

Supported walking

Therapy programmes

Supporting with family time

Accessing the community

Medication

Recording information

Cleaning

You will work alongside therapists who provide bespoke training and programmes. These programmes look at the next steps in the individual's personal development. Our client continues to progress in all aspects of her life.

You'll carry out all tasks to the highest standards, taking the child and her family's needs into account.

You will receive supervision, support and training co-ordinated by Circle Case Management. There is the option to gain further qualifications in this role too.

Due to Personal Care requirements there is an occupational requirement to recruit female staff

Permanent Contract:

Support worker working 20 hours per week, including two weekend shifts (0900-2000) and three weekday shifts (1330-2000) per fortnight. More hours are available during school holidays and opportunity to pick up cover shifts.

Rate of pay:

Weekdays at £12.51/hour and weekends at £15.02/hour
