Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor
West London / Berkshire / Oxfordshire
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
An established and growing M&E contractor is seeking a Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding West Region, covering areas including West London, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' Quantity Surveying experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within the mechanical and electrical sector.
Role Overview
You will support the commercial delivery of commercial fit-out projects, working on schemes with M&E values ranging from £3m-£15m. The role offers hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle, with structured support and training.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the commercial management of M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account
• Support with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist in preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports
• Help monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts
• Work closely with project and site teams to track progress and commercial performance
• Support the management of subcontractor accounts and payments
• Assist in identifying commercial risks and opportunities

Experience & Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
• Interest in developing a career within the M&E / Building Services sector
• Basic understanding of construction commercial processes
• Degree or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred)

Development & Support
You will work closely with an experienced Commercial Manager, receiving full support, mentorship, and training to help you progress your career within the M&E sector.
Skills

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Proactive and motivated attitude
• Basic IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
