Broughton House is a 29 bed specialist residential service for adults with severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

We are looking for Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service.

This role would suit someone who has a lot of experience working with this client group, is looking to step-up, and take on more responsibilities or looking for a new challenge.

You'll be working 42 hours a week, covering 12hrs shifts on a rota basis making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care.

Due to the remote location of the service and lack of public transport, applicants will ideally need to be a drive or have own means of transport.

Your day-to-day...

Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service

Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely

Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care

Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support

Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way

Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required

Maintain a safe & clean environment for all
