As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading, mentoring, and supporting our team to provide the highest quality of care.

About The RoleAs a Senior Support Worker, you will provide both practical and emotional care while also acting as a role model and leader to your colleagues. You will support residents to achieve independence, wellbeing, and personal goals, whilst ensuring the home runs safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example in delivering person-centred care.

Mentor, supervise, and support junior colleagues in their practice.

Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans.

Support with personal care, daily living activities, and household tasks.

Encourage and enable residents to engage in hobbies, social activities, and community life.

Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards.

Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins as required.

About YouWe are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or challenging behaviour.

Qualified with a Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards one).

Calm under pressure, resilient, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.

An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

Passionate about making a difference and committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults.
