Location & Hours Location: TauntonHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PMContract Type: Full-time, term-time onlyPay: £89 – £100 per day (based on experience and qualifications)Experience: Minimum 6‐12 months of relevant experience requiredRole Responsibilities Provide targeted support to pupils with complex SEND, either 1:1 or in small groupsImplement and adapt learning strategies to meet individual needsSupport academic progress, emotional development, and independenceContribute to reviews of EHCPs and personalised learning plansMaintain detailed observations and reports on pupil progress and behaviourWe're Looking For At least 6‐12 months of experience working in a SEND setting (school or care-based)Confidence working with challenging behaviour and emotional regulation techniquesA calm, flexible, and proactive approach to classroom supportExcellent communication and team‐working skillsA relevant qualification such as CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Team Teach, or SEND‐specific CPD is desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer Competitive pay based on experience (£89.66 daily with potential to earn more)School placements tailored to your skillset and preferencesOngoing CPD and specialist SEND training through Five EducationSupportive consultants to guide you throughout your placementOpportunities to progress into long‐term or permanent SEND rolesHoliday pay includedVetting & DBS We require a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one. If you do not have a non‐voluntary enhanced DBS, we will process a new one at a cost of £62.70, refunded after 20 days of work. Successful applicants must undergo reference checks, TRA checks, a face‐to‐face interview, and a DBS check.Right to Work Right to work in the UK is required.
