We are looking for a temporary cook to support catering for groups staying at an outdoor activity centre. The role involves preparing and serving simple, hearty meals for visiting groups of up to 40-50 people.

Duties Include

Preparing and cooking lunch and dinner for guests

Breakfast is self-service, but the kitchen should be prepared and stocked

Plating and presenting food on a hot plate/servery for guests

Cooking straightforward dishes (e.g. Marinated chicken and similar meals)

Ensuring food is ready on time for group meal schedules

Basic kitchen organisation and cleanliness

Schedule & Groups

Friday & Saturday: Catering for the same group (up to 40-50 people) for lunch and dinner

Sunday:

Prepare packed lunches for the departing group

A new group arrives requiring lunch and dinner

Ideal Candidate

Experience cooking for groups or in a catering environment

Able to organise meals for up to 50 people

Practical, reliable and comfortable working independently in a kitchen

Additional Information

Simple, filling meals are required rather than fine dining

Accommodation in a staff bedroom can be provided if needed
