Overview A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in Thetford, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.This is a purpose built care home designed for older people requiring general or dementia residential and nursing care.To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care.Responsibilities Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residentsConduct formal supervisions and appraisalsContribute to care planning and coaching support workersTake an active professional role in promoting the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiriesParticipate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentationSkills and experience Proven experience of working in a care settingA good team playerGood verbal and written communication skillsHave a genuine desire to care for othersSalary and benefits The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.00 per hour and the annual salary is £26,208 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 36 hours a week on nights.
