Extra Men Limited are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Marshall with a valid Class 1 Licence to support one of our most valued clients based in the Birmingham area, working as a driver with light yard marshalling duties.

Our client is a highly reputable and well-established organisation within the exhibition and trade show industry, specialising in the delivery of bespoke exhibition equipment to venues across the UK.

Whats on offer:

• 4 days work per week, with opportunities for overtime
• Average 12-hour shifts (45-minute break deducted)
• Regular work with a respected and reliable client

The role:

• Delivering exhibition equipment to venues nationwide (commonly London and Scotland)
• Assisting with unloading and handling goods where required (handball involved)
• Yard marshalling duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Shunting and manoeuvring vehicles within the yard
• Supporting general yard organisation and efficiency

Working hours:
Flexibility is essential. Applicants must be available for varying start times and occasional weekend work, depending on business needs.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 Licence (held and actively used for a minimum of 1 year)
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements)
• Previous yard marshalling experience preferred (but not essential)
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong communication skills
• Willingness to work long hours and stay out overnight when required
