JDR is recruiting for a Production Operative to work in a manufacturing site on the outskirts of Wellington, Somerset.


Pay: £12.75 - £13.00 an hour
Shift: 42 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 07.30 - 17.00 Friday 08.00 - 15.00

Temporary to permanent contract

The Role: As a Production Operative you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your duties will be as follows:

• Sanding of welded products and parts ready to go in shot blaster
• Quality Control of the product prior to shot blasting
• Operating the shot blaster to get the product ready for spraying
• The cleaning off and assembly of castings and associated parts
• Any other general factory duties, assisting colleagues as required

About You: As a Production Operative you will have the following skills and experience:

• Start immediately and are looking for long term work
• Previous experience with hand tools
• Able to work up to 42.5 hours per week
• You will be able to travel to the outskirts of Wellington, Somerset
