Senior Sales Manager – Food Packaging (QSR / Wholesale)
Field-based (UK-wide) – offices in South as needed
£70,000–£80,000 + company car + uncapped bonus (~1% of turnover)
We’re supporting a fast-growing, entrepreneurial group spanning drinks and food packaging, led by a highly successful serial entrepreneur. The group is expanding quickly and has recently invested further into its food packaging division – a £20m business supplying food-to-go packaging (burger boxes, pizza boxes, paper goods) into major wholesalers and routes to market that ultimately service restaurants and QSR.
This is a senior commercial hire in a flat structure with a small, hungry sales team (c.3 people). The brief is simple: bring relationships, open doors, win business, and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business and grow existing accounts across food packaging into wholesale and QSR routes to market
- Leverage your network to secure meetings quickly, given the freedom to sell the product where you see fit
- Build relationships with major wholesalers (e.g. Bidfood / Brakes and similar) and key operator groups
- Develop and execute a commercially aggressive growth plan, with freedom to operate autonomously
- Be consistently customer-facing, this is a field role, not office-based
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape strategy and prioritise high-value opportunities
- Represent the wider group where relevant, with potential cross-sell opportunities across the portfolio
What we’re looking for:
- A relationship-led salesperson with an existing network across QSR, foodservice wholesale, convenience or on/off trade.
- Someone commercially driven, proactive and “hungry”, thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
- Comfortable building from scratch where needed, with minimal process and maximum accountability
- Strong track record of winning business and growing turnover through personal relationships
- Confident being on the road and in front of customers most days
- Comfortable operating in a small team with a flat structure and high expectations
