Job description
We are supporting a large pharmaceutical client who are looking for a SHE SME to help support a large expansion project.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure project SHE goals, objectives, and KPIs are clearly defined and agreed
- Act as a single point of contact for engineering SHE, ensuring targets and requirements are understood and met.
- Verify project team members have completed required SHE training to meet project standards.
- Work with the Design Manager to assess SHE impacts of design changes.
- Collaborate with the Construction SHE Lead on safe-to-start and pre-start-up safety reviews.
- Support the Project Technical Manager in selecting appropriate SHE study contractors.
- Share deliverables with the project team and client for feedback and approval, ensuring SHE studies are high quality and incorporated into design.
- Participate in project development and design reviews to advise on SHE implications.
- Track progress against the engineering SHE delivery plan and schedule.
- Contribute to tier reporting and project gate reviews.
- Ensure SHE knowledge is transferred to end users
- Escalate issues to the Project Technical Manager and, if necessary, the Project Manager.
You need:
- Experience in Pharmaceutical
- Proven record in engineering SHE roles
- Experience with SHE studies, risk assessments and safety reviews in a project environment
- Ability to review design and assess SHE impacts of changes
