Location: Sutton
Role Type: Permanent (Term-time only)
Salary: £40,000 - £54,899.34
Working Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 4.30pm Friday 8.45am – 4.15pm

The Role
Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join a service in Sutton working with a PMLD caseload. This is a term-time only position, offering a strong work-life balance within a specialist setting.
Details
The role involves working with children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, supporting complex physical, sensory, and functional needs. You will provide specialist assessment and intervention within an educational environment, working closely with staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist PMLD caseload with complex needs
- Complete functional, sensory, and postural assessments
- Develop and implement individualised therapy and care plans
- Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Provide training and guidance on equipment, positioning, and daily care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, ideally with PMLD
- Knowledge of sensory integration, postural management, and complex needs
- Ability to work independently within an educational setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
