Production Operative

Job description

M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting reliable operatives to support a project preparing and re-labelling electrical cable stock. This role involves hands-on work including applying barcodes and heat shrink using heat guns. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse, production, or electrical experience.
Own Vehicle is essential due to site location.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (0900 - 1700)
Pay Rate: £12.71ph

Key Responsibilities:

• Applying barcode labels to cable stock accurately
• Using heat guns to apply adhesive heat shrink to cables
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
• Following health & safety guidelines at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or similar environment is desirable
• Any electrical-related experience would be advantageous
• Experience using hand tools or heat guns is beneficial
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
