Salary: £47,000 - £51,000 or up to £35 per hour

The Role

Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist to join a service in West London working with a paediatric caseload of children and young people aged 2–19 with severe learning disabilities (SLD).

Details

The role involves working within a specialist setting, supporting children and young people with complex developmental and functional needs. You will provide assessment and intervention to promote independence, sensory regulation, and participation in daily and educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a paediatric caseload of children and young people with SLD
• Complete functional, sensory, and developmental assessments
• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and the multidisciplinary team
• Provide strategies to support sensory regulation and daily functioning
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, ideally with SLD or complex needs
• Knowledge of sensory integration and neurodevelopmental conditions
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organisational skills
