The Role
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will support fee earners across the full residential conveyancing process, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residential sale and purchase transactions from instruction through to completion
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Issuing contracts and assisting with enquiries and mortgage redemptions
- Supporting pre and post-completion processes
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and third parties
- Maintaining accurate records using case management systems
- Using Land Registry portal, SDLT submissions and lender systems
- Delivering a high standard of client care throughout
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal
- Strong understanding of residential conveyancing processes
- Experience handling contracts, enquiries and supporting completions
- Good knowledge of legal compliance requirements
- Confident communicator with clients and third parties
- Experience with case management systems and conveyancing portals
- Highly organised, detail-focused and process-driven
