D7 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HSE Manager / Health and Safety Consultant with manufacturing experience looking to develop their career!


Job title: Health and Safety Consultant

Location: This is a hybrid working role with site visits across the UK

Salary: £40k to £55k a year + car allowance


Responsibilities:

  • Understand the client’s specific needs by working closely with them to develop a package of works tailored their specific requirements
  • Writing and delivering presentations to the client
  • Undertaking audits and writing professional reports
  • Advising the client on health and safety matters in a professional and pragmatic way
  • Seize opportunities for further business and ensure that clients are aware of all services available from the group
  • Maintain and build on the excellent working relationships already developed with our current clients
  • Work on business development opportunities, building on from your own network and new opportunities
  • Support other team members by sharing your knowledge and expertise
  • Winning new work by being passionate and understanding all the services the company an offered
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to an ever changing and demanding environment.
  • Be a positive and cooperative team member who is willing to go the extra mile.
  • Involvement in project work or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Undertake any reasonable request made by the Directors and Managers.

  • Communicates clearly across all platforms, is engaging and can speak to anyone at all levels.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced demanding environment and enjoys resolving conflict.
  • Loves taking on difficult challenges and problem solving.
  • Able to react quickly and efficiently to changing demands and requirements.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Previous experience in a health and safety or construction / contractor role
