Propeller Group, a Sunday Times Best Places to work PR agency, is seeking a bright and ambitious Account Exec or Senior Account Exec to join our team and work on an exciting list of clients in the media, marketing, advertising, and technology sectors.

The role works closely with Account Managers and Account Directors to ensure PR campaigns run smoothly, accurately and efficiently.

You will have between six months to two years of B2B PR experience, with excellent communication skills. You will be passionate about news, current affairs and the media in general. You will also be excited about working in the PR industry and helping clients to create stories that raise their profile and get them noticed by the target audiences they want to reach.


Working at Propeller you will have the opportunity to develop your own skills and knowledge, and also contribute to the ongoing development of the agency by attending industry events such as Cannes Lions, Advertising Week Europe/New York, MADfest and Ecommerce Expo.



Responsibilities and Duties


  • Assisting with day-to-day execution of client programmes, as directed by your account manager/director, and providing reliable support.
  • Client contact on day-to-day matters, including preparation for, attending, contributing to client meetings, when relevant and taking notes.
  • Taking initiative in identifying new opportunities and ideas, working in consultation with the account manager/director.
  • Developing good media contacts in areas relevant to client activity. Researching and writing news releases and articles for internal approval.
  • Liaison with media, taking a pro-active role in pitching in ideas Where necessary creating media lists.
  • Producing work that is consistently of high standard and needs minimal re-working.
  • Ensuring that client reporting procedures (contact reports, progress reports, agendas etc) are implemented, and in a timely fashion.
