Clinical Negligence Solicitor - London - Up to £85,000
A leading national personal injury and clinical negligence practice is seeking a Clinical Negligence Associate to join its well-established London team.
The team is highly regarded for handling complex, high-value clinical negligence claims, combining strong technical expertise with excellent client care. You'll work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload, gaining exposure to both litigated and pre-litigation matters within a collaborative national practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to take the next step in a high-performing and supportive clinical negligence team.
The Role:
- Managing a caseload of complex and high-value clinical negligence claims
- Supporting progression of files from initial instruction to settlement or trial
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal documents
- Reviewing medical records and liaising with medical experts
- Developing case strategy based on evidence and liability assessment
- Attending hearings, CMCs and settlement meetings
- Providing clear, client-focused legal advice and updates
- Maintaining strong client relationships throughout
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with clinical negligence experience
- Defendant or claimant background considered
- Strong drafting, analytical and case management skills
- Confident reviewing medical evidence and working with experts
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client care ability
- Able to manage multiple complex cases effectively
- Commercially aware and motivated to progress
