The Role

This is a sales-driven Front of House role with a strong focus on macarons as our signature product, while also promoting our range of pastries, beverages, and luxury gifts. You will create a premium, personalised experience that drives both customer satisfaction and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience (Core Focus)

  • Lead the sale of Ladurées macaron collections, gift boxes, and seasonal ranges
  • Confidently guide customers across the full product offering, including pastries, chocolates, beverages, and gifting
  • Use product knowledge and storytelling to enhance the customer journey and increase spend
  • Upsell effectively (box sizes, product pairings, gifting options, add-ons)
  • Deliver a personalised, luxury experience that encourages repeat business

Product Knowledge & Brand Representation

  • Develop strong knowledge of all product categories, with macaron expertise as a priority
  • Share insights on flavours, ingredients, and brand heritage to engage customers
  • Represent Ladurée with a polished, professional, and brand-aligned approach

Retail Excellence

  • Maintain exceptional visual standards across macaron displays and retail areas
  • Ensure products are well-presented, fully stocked, and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Support visual merchandising to maximise sales opportunities

Sales Performance

  • Actively contribute to achieving store sales targets
  • Drive Average Transaction Value (ATV) through confident recommendations
  • Promote seasonal launches and high-margin products

Beverage & Complementary Sales

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and beverages to brand standards
  • Recommend pairings that enhance product sales and customer experience

Operations & Accuracy

  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately using POS systems
  • Ensure all products are packaged to premium standards
  • Support stock control, rotation, and replenishment

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively to deliver seamless service, especially during peak periods
  • Contribute to a positive, sales-focused team environment
What Were Looking For
  • Strong sales and customer engagement skills
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or a premium/luxury environment
  • Passion for high-quality food products and customer experience
  • Confident communicator with attention to detail
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
  • Professional presentation aligned with a luxury brand
Desirable
  • Experience in high-end retail, gifting, or premium food brands
  • Barista or beverage preparation experience
  • Interest in French culture or ptisserie
