At John Smedley, every garment is crafted with careand how its finished matters just as much as how its made. Were looking for a hands-on Garment Pressing Operative to join our team at our historic Lea Mills in Matlock.

• Set up and operate steam press machines to finish garments to the highest standard
• Follow job sheets and instructions to ensure consistency and quality
• Inspect garments during pressing to maintain presentation standards
• Work as part of a skilled team to meet production targets
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organised

This role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern:

• Days: 6:00am 2:00pm
• Afternoons: 2:00pm 10:00pm
• Nights: 10:00pm 6:00am

• Practical and hands-on, with good attention to detail
• Able to stand for long periods and carry out manual tasks
• A strong team player with good communication skills
• Reliable, with a positive work ethic
• Able to follow written instructions and record basic information
• Have your own transport due to shift times
