The Role

Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a service in North West London working with a secondary-aged ASD caseload within an educational setting.

Details

The role involves supporting young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), providing specialist assessment and intervention to support sensory processing, functional independence, and engagement in education.

Responsibilities

• Manage a secondary-aged ASD caseload within a school setting
• Complete functional, sensory, and developmental assessments
• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans
• Work collaboratively with school staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Provide strategies to support sensory regulation and participation in learning
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Experience in paediatric occupational therapy, ideally within ASD settings
• Knowledge of sensory integration and neurodevelopmental conditions
• Ability to work independently within educational settings
• Strong communication and organisational skills
