Senior Residential Support WorkerJob Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire
Salary: £33,096 - £35,800 (Inc. Sleep-ins)
Working Hour: Full-time / Shift pattern
Number of Sleeps Required: As required
Pay Per Sleep: £50 per sleep-in
Service: Children's Home
Service Users: YPs – SEMH, EBD, Trauma, Behavioural & Emotional Difficulties
Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years in residential childcare

Number of Beds: Small residential children's home
Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire
Type of YPs: SEMH, EBD, Trauma, Behavioural & Emotional Difficulties
Ofsted Rating: Good / Outstanding
Ratio of Staff to Children: High staff-to-child ratio
Who we are looking for...Aged 22+ (to meet Ofsted regulations)
Caring, resilient, and emotionally intelligent individuals
Experienced in residential childcare, with ability to lead and supervise staff
Confident in challenging situations and maintaining safeguarding standards
Holds a Full UK manual driving licence
Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:
You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (not deemed equivalent).
Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.
Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
Role Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality care and safeguarding to children and young people
Build positive, long-term relationships and teach life skills
Supervise residential staff and lead shifts
Manage rotas, policies, procedures, and risk assessments
Ensure placement plans are followed and education is supported
