CYP Clinical Support WorkerThe closing date is 27 May 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Clinical Support Worker within the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Team. You will join an established multidisciplinary ADHD Team of Specialist Nurses, Consultant Psychiatrists and Assistant Practitioners.

This post is a Band 3 permanent 22.5 hours per week and will be based in the East Cheshire area.

Main duties of the jobYou will be working with children and young people who have been prescribed ADHD medication to monitor their physical observations, including height, weight, blood pressure and pulse rate. The role will also consist of reviewing the effectiveness of the ADHD medication prescribed through supporting and administering a Qb assessment with the children and young people as part of their annual ADHD medication review.

Full training and opportunities for development will be offered, in addition to supervision and appraisal.

Qualifications

Educated to minimum standard of 5 GCSE's

Any qualifications relevant to children.

Knowledge and Expertise

Ability to work autonomously

Experience of undertaking audits

Demonstrate practices with base level of theoretical knowledge

Understanding of child development.

Experience

Experience of working with young people in mental health setting

Experience of multiagency working
